About Rose

Artist • Educator • Creative Collaborator

Hello, and welcome to the world of Rose!

I’m a proud Colorado native currently living in Denver. I graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. While theatre was my first love, my creative path has expanded to include visual art, photography, education, and community-based work.

I spent three years teaching Early Childhood Education, which deepened my love for connection, creativity, and working with young artists. Today, I teach PK–5th grade art as an art specialist at a private elementary school, coach middle school volleyball, and continue to direct and choreograph youth theatre. I love helping young people build confidence, curiosity, and joy through movement, performance, and art.

Photography has always been a quiet but constant interest of mine, and it truly began to grow during my time in college when I started taking production photos for theatre department shows. That experience sparked a deeper love for capturing people in moments of expression and storytelling. Since then, my photography has expanded to include artistic portraits and family portraits, blending my theatrical eye with a love for authentic, human connection.

Outside the classroom, I’m an active artist in the community. You can find my work here on my website, on Instagram @weirdnwacky303, at local art booths and community events, and featured at spaces like Lollicup Denver and Spectra Art Space. I also offer face painting for parties and events—bringing a little extra color and whimsy wherever I go.

I’m always open to creative collaborations and performance opportunities, and I love staying connected to the ever-evolving worlds of theatre and art.

Keep exploring to find my artwork, photography, blog, and performance history!
